Hi friends & co.,
My name is Elisa. I’m a fourth year ABD PhD candidate in poetry, I teach creative writing and college composition, have two adorable cats and just recently discovered the English grammar concept of “the dummy it” which I feel compelled to tell everyone about. I won’t bore you here, but there will be a post forthcoming…
When I’m not poeming, I’m probably sitting at my desk planning poems, falling into sundry researching rabbit holes or pretending I’m capable of cryptography (spoiler: I’m really not).
Back to poems– you can find my most recent poems in the following glorious publications: The Journal, Blackbird, RHINO Poetry, West Branch and Boxcar Poetry Review, with new poems forthcoming in 2017 from such fabulous venues as Indiana Review and Emerge Literary Journal.
